“God did not put me to shame” – Mercy Johnson says as she celebrates daughter’s 10th birthday with 6 cakes (photos)



Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson-Okojie, on Thursday celebrated her daughter, Purity, who clocked 10 years old.

The excited mum took to her verified Instagram page to share pictures of the Ten-year-old as she showered her daughter with prayers.

She wrote, “OSEBHAJIMENTE, it means “God did not put me to shame.” My baby is 10 today. Lord, do that which only you can do in her life in Jesus’ name. Happy Birthday, Princess Purity. @theokojiekids my very own life.”

“They came into our lives together, they left together” – Man mourns his 2-year-old twin grandsons who drowned in swimming pool (photos)

  Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths of twin toddlers who drowned at a family home in Kloof Falls, on the KZN upper west highway, Durban, at the weekend. According to a spokesperson from Rescue Care, the two-year-old brothers died just before 5pm on Saturday afternoon, 20th  “Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the twins had somehow fallen into the family pool. Paramedics assessed the two and attempted to resuscitate them. However, their attempts were not successful and both boys were declared deceased on the scene,” the spokesperson said. Taking to social media following the horrific incident, the boys’ grandfather, Ivan Ikes, said the twins’ parents had gone to sympathise with another family.
